This picture was taken in late February at sunrise, in the middle of the frozen Baikal lake. The adventure of braving -20°C and the wind speed of 30 kmph to take this picture makes it one of the most challenging photographs I have ever taken.

The morning sun shining thru the meshed window creates a light golden mesh on the floor, and a girl enjoying the view and the warm morning sun makes up a beautiful story and a perfect combination of light and shadow.
